Made with Decker for Short Circuit VN Jam and Decker Fantasy Camp 2025

You meet a runaway factory robot that takes you sightseeing and talks about its feelings.

I'm not sure what this is actually about.

But if you feel lost, if you want to live even though you're scared, if you desperately want to develop connections but you feel like there's something holding you back, this was made for you.

I quite enjoyed the distinctive style and how the robot shared their feelings!

this is so wonderful! I really enjoyed it it made me feeeeeel things (positive things)

Aaaa i’m so happy to hear that! (Especially since i’m constantly looking for media that makes me feel things, so i’m glad i could do the same for someone else)

Oh this is so pretty and lovely! And you used palettefade, haha!

(+2)

Thank you! I’ll definitely be using it again :>

You should try out the fade effect next time!

I was originally planning to fade between the different palettes, but it would have been difficult with how i initially handled the passing of time. I didn’t even notice that it’s (probably) really easy to achieve now since i moved some stuff around (・・; i’ll probably change it in a future update!

Yeah I think as it is now you'd just have to replace the setPalette statements with paletteFade statements. I'm happy to help get it working if you have issues :)

Thank you :> i was thinking the same thing, but i ran into something right away hahah i’ll make a post later in the Palettefade topic/board/thread? in the forums, it seems more appropriate/potentially helpful for other users as well

Your art and writing is so beautiful and the bonus easter egg was a delight :)

Thank you, i’m glad you enjoyed it! I ended up crunching this time and i was very insecure about everything being too messy, so your comment is very reassuring :>
